Alexandrite laser hair removal Rethymnon

Unwanted hair is a common problem for which laser hair removal is the treatment of choice. A new study (Eremia S et al. Laser hair removal: long-term results with a 755 nm alexandrite laser. Dermatol Surg. 2001 Nov 2001 Nov;27(11):920-4) evaluated the long-term efficacy and safety of the Alexandrite laser in patients with Fitzpatrick skin types I-V. Patients had a mean hair reduction of 74%, indicating that the Alexandrite laser can safely and effectively achieve long-term hair removal in patients with skin types I-V. The best results are achieved in non-tanned patients with skin types I-IV.
