Rhinoplasty Crete

Open and closed rhinoplasty are the two main procedures for nose reshaping. According to the current literature, there is no absolute consensus that one technique is better than the other. A recent retrospective study (Gupta R eta al. Outcomes of Closed versus Open Rhinoplasty: A Systematic Review. Arch Plast Surg 2022 Sep 23;49(5):569–579) demonstrated that there is no clear answer to the above question and concluded that both techniques demonstrate high patient satisfaction with no advantage of one over the other. However, at Opsisclinical Plastic Surgery we mainly use open rhinoplasty because it is precisely the technique of millimeters, so in this way we have 100% accuracy and efficasy. In cases of secondary rhinoplasty (secondary rhinoplasty or revision rhinoplasty) we can perform closed rhinoplasty to optimize the result.
