Q-switch laser (1064/532nm)

Q-switched lasers are used to remove tattoos by shattering ink pigments into particles that are cleared by the body's lymphatic’s system. Full removal can take between six and twenty treatments depending on the amount and colour of ink, spaced at least a month apart, using different wavelengths or different inks. Q-switch laser is also used to treat skin-related issues like acne, pigmentation, dark spots, and fixes for anti-aging (Barua S.Laser-Tissue Interaction in Tattoo Removal by Q-Switched Lasers. J Cutan Aesthet Surg. 2015 Jan-Mar;8(1):5-8).
