Humanitarian missions

Dr Ioannis Liapakis, join humanitarian missions around the world

Opsisclinical and Dr Liapakis train, equip, connect and deploy Plastic Surgery for short-term disaster relief medical missions. Members of "ISAPS-LEAP/Surgical Relief Teams" and of "Христианский мир", assembly surgical teams of volunteers for one-week deployments. Humanitarian missions to Syria, Syrian-Turkish borders, Egypt, Vietnam, Armenia are already or are going to be undertaken (www.leapmissions.org). The main activity consists of the correction of gunshot wounds, explosions, burns, craniofacial anomalies, congenital cleft lip and palate.
