HPV Infection

Thursday, 23 January 2025

Warts often go away without treatment, particularly in children. The genital HPV infection is a precancerous lesion and has to be eliminated especially for the HPV 16 and 18 types.
We will be able to diagnose your possible human papillomavirus (HPV) infection by visible consultation. If there is a debate, we’ll need a biopsy: surgical removal is indicated to be reassured. Burning also with electrocautery or laser removal is a good option especially in the cervix and anus areas because the HPV infection is related to cervical, vulvar, anal, even penile and oral cancer.
