Migraine is one of the most common types of headache and the second most common cause of neurological disorders, with an annual incidence of approximately 15% of the population. A new study (Shaterian Net al. Botox (OnabotulinumtoxinA) for Treatment of Migraine Symptoms: A Systematic Review. It was shown that the use of Botox is a cost-effective option for the treatment of various types of migraines, including chronic, episodic, unilateral and vestibular types. It can reduce the frequency of migraine attacks per month and reduce the severity of pain.
